DR. CYRIELLE RICHARD

Post-Doc

Cyrielle obtained her BSc and MSc in Genetics at University of Paris. Following this, she received her PhD in Hematology at Prof. Patrick Mayeux’s laboratory, under the supervision of PhD Frédérique Verdier. During her PhD, she studied the interaction between iron metabolism and erythropoiesis, which gave her authorships of multiple papers.

Her project focuses on identifying driver mechanisms involved in the progression of myelodysplastic syndromes to AML. Cyrielle loves working alongside the driven and talented members of the lab and she aims to head her own research lab one day.

Cyrielle is an avid reader, and collects books during her travels... With over 10 countries visited, she's running out of shelf space !
