AMRO ELRAFIE

Amro obtained his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biology and Pharmacology from McMaster University in 2022. He completed his undergraduate thesis in the Bhatia Program exploring leukemic regeneration. His master’s project expands on this work and involves screening potential inducers of AML regeneration. He further branched out his project by functionally characterizing AML samples to resolve subgroups responding differently to induction of regeneration.

 

The scientific rigour and translational approach of the Bhatia Program enticed Amro to join the team.

 

Amro loves to cook, work on cars, and spend time outdoors.
