Zhuohang (Alice) Feng

Zhuohang received her Bachelor of Health Science in Biology and Pharmacology from McMaster University in 2021. She completed her undergraduate thesis in the Bhatia lab where her project focused on the high-content screening of bioactive molecules that can selectively target the cancer stem cells via differentiation pathways. Her project continued into her masters project where she focuses on mechanism of action of the molecules using embryonic stem cells and primary AML patient samples. She further expanded the project into exploration of novel chemical space using human stem cell assays to find novel target using mass spectrometry and other techniques available for protein identification. 

 

Zhuohang used to be a competitive swimmer and participated in two BC provincial swimming championship competition when she was in high school.
